These creamy mashed potatoes are an easy side dish that are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

- 6 medium russet potatoes
- 1 1/2 sticks room temperature salted butter, cut into tablespoons
- 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp of: salt, black pepper, white pepper, and garlic powder
- 1/2 cup milk (2%)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Peel the potatoes, rinse, and cut each potato into 6-8 chunks. Place the potatoes in a large pot and fill the pot with cold water until the potatoes are completely covered. Put the pot on the stove top over high heat until the water is boiling. Once the water is boiling you can turn the temperature down to medium-high and cook for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender. When the potatoes are finished boiling drain all the water. To your large pot of potatoes add the remaining ingredients and whip with a hand mixer on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until smooth. Enjoy!
