My 5 Summer Must Haves of 2020

My 5 Summer Must Haves of 2020

Every girl has their favorite products they swear by. The ones that we can’t go without, and we make sure we always have plenty of. I’m no different. This summer I have really tried to cut back on how many products I’ve been using, and tried to be slightly more mindful of what products I am. So, I’ve narrowed down a list of my 5 favorite products for summer 2020. Maybe you use them already, maybe you’ve been wanting to, or maybe you’ve never heard of them. Regardless, I love them!

It’s no secret that everyone has different skin types. What works for me, might not work for you. I recommend listening to your body and skin. If a product isn’t making you feel your best, confident self then find one that does! That’s one of the wonderful things about having so many options.

mario badescu facial spray

This facial spray by Mario Badescu is so light and refreshing! I use it daily after cleaning my face to hydrate, and leave my skin feeling clean and bright. It’s available in a variety of combinations. The rose water facial spray is also one I have that I use often to freshen up throughout the day. I purchased mine at Ulta.

SunBum Premium Sunscreen Face Lotion

Since I’m pregnant this summer I’ve paid a lot more attention to making sure my skin is protected for the sun. I regret not spending this much time on my skin in years past actually. But, better late than never! This sunscreen face lotion is a SPF 50 so it provides great coverage. I put a small amount on my face in the morning after I moisturize and before I apply my foundation. It’s very light weight, and doesn’t have an overly strong sunscreen smell that is recognizable.

TULA skincare brighten up smoothing primer gel

I feel like this summer has been the summer of TULA. This skincare company has become so popular lately and it seems like every person I know has their favorite TULA product. For me, it’s this smoothing primer gel. I’m not kidding y’all when I say that I ran out for a day and I was actually sad. I’ve never been a big primer user but decided to take a chance on this and was so pleased. It feels like butter melting into your skin because it’s so smooth and light.

Burt's Bees Mango Moisturizing Lip Balm

Mmm, mango. My go-to flavor this summer is, you guessed it, mango. It’s tropical, flavorful, and has really been a stand out flavor option this summer. Many brands have had special mango flavors for 2020. This lip balm is no exception. Burt’s Bees is by far one of my favorite lip balms. In the winter their original flavor gives my lips a nice tingle that is addicting in cold weather. But, this mango flavor is perfect for warm weather. I bought mine in a multi-pack of flavors and it was my favorite one!

Jergens original scent dry skin moisturizer

I know that body lotion isn’t typically a summer thing because our skin feels more hydrated than it does in the winter. But, with all the extra hand sanitizer this summer, lotion has became a must for me. Also, I’ve used A LOT of lotion on my growing baby bump. I’ve used this Jergens lotion for years. My mom used it (and still does) while I was growing up, so naturally it’s what I’ve grown used to too. Plus, it smells so good. Their original scent is cherry almond and it’s such a lovely smell. It’s not too strong, but definitely has a distinct smell that is divine.

Price: $5.99
